We Will Survive

In the We Will Survive workshop, participants will create an online exhibition with the Unity game-engine and relevant web and 3D spatial technologies, including 3D scanning and animation, interface design, and online publishing.

As the basis of the virtual exhibition, the participants will create an interactive 360° panorama image of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin by combining existing materials that can be found online with their own imagery. In this virtual scenario, the group will be able to reflect on notions of “nature” and “culture,” institutions, and history by creating a variety of digital media – from 3D scans and animations to texts and sound installations, thus augmenting the virtual scenery of the Naturkunde Museum and recontextualising the historical and scientific artifacts, creating new dynamics in the artistic discourse on the subject.
